The Food Technology
Centre offers a comprehensive range of food processing
equipment and a product innovation unit to assist businesses
develop new concepts and test new processes for today's
global market place.
The Food Business
Incubation Centre (www.loughrycollege.info/fbic)
aims to nuture entrepreneurship and promote enterprise in
food. It provides eight small factories and a supportive
environment in which new and existing businesses can commercialise
their business ideas.
The Packaging
Centre is an ISO 9002 accredited facility providing
a state of the art resource for evaluating packaging materials
and distribution packaging systems. The Packaging Centre
is equipped with advanced, high tech testing equipment,
allowing the evaluation of a wide range of material properties
important to technologists in the food and packaging industries.
